"We had two rooms for 4 people. One room was the detached back cottage with two twin beds and a bit smaller bathroom that our older daughters used, and one room was upstairs with nice space and a very nice restrooms including modern shower my wife and I used. The location was perfect for our brief visit to see some of the St Andrews history and visit the Old Course. The provided breakfast was superb and we enjoyed talking with the staff. "Traveling with kids can be complicated, but this stay was absolutely excellent. The rooms were both spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and check in/out was a breeze. There’s no lift, so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "
