"We booked this Villa and had to arrive late because our flight was delayed until the next day. We called to arrange the late check in and the owner ignored our calls and texts all day. When we finally arrived the guard wouldn’t let us in and said someone was already staying in the Villa. After hours of Hotels.com customer service trying to talk with the owner they finally spoke to the owner and he said we could check in the next morning. "TERRIBLE experience. The security did not allow us to get onto the property without a room number. The owner of the property never picked up their phone and we called them hundreds of times. Was then stuck in a foreign country in the middle of the night trying to find a place to sleep.."

"If you are a traveler/vacationer who needs to take pictures of your room and enjoy luxurious facilities, then cardif hotel and spa is not for you! If however, you enjoy and value authentic interactions with seasoned hospitality staff as well as those that are in training then this is the place for you! The staff are wonderful! They catered to us like a community caters to it's returning residents. Brreakfast was of the kind and quality, that even after checking out, we returned the following morning as a walking customer for take out! Overall i enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the space and will definately be staying there again!"

Fantastic Boutique Hotel

"I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful boutique hotel in Jamaica, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcomed every single person I interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality truly made the experience feel like a home away from home. The food was another highlight of my stay every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Knowing that the hotel partners with local farmers to source fresh, sustainable produce only made each bite more meaningful. It’s a wonderful feeling to support a place that supports its community in such a thoughtful way. As a Black/Jamaican owned hotel, this place also carries a deep sense of pride and authenticity that you can feel in everything from the decor to the service. I’m so glad I chose to stay here and will absolutely be returning on my next visit to Jamaica. Highly recommend!"

"This was a family vacation with two teenagers. From the moment we arrived at the hotel it was five star service. The staff was both professional efficient and so helpful. Rooms excellent and room service was excellent. The dining buffet was amazing with so many different types of foods. The pools and on property activities will also excellent. One of the best properties we have visited. Service as expected with a smile, as after all, we are in Jamaica! We were all including the kids entertained at all times ! "

"The views from the Lodge's different balconies were amazing! There was private access to the ocean which was a good place to swim in However, the last two steps down into the water were very mossy. I want to encourage them to clean those steps though using concrete scrapers. I really liked the property though, it was beautiful and serene."
