"The stay was amazing! Clean room, staff was incredible! If you like Victorian style this is the place. Breakfast portions were large. Close walk to the harbor and other venues. Only thing I wish they had was a vending machine with soda and snacks"

"The in-room smoke detector had a very bright light that blinked all night long. It made it challenging to fall asleep. Beds were comfortable with soft sheets. Breakfast was decent."

Staff were so nice, lovely perfume spray when you walk; the decor was so adorable; the bed and room were wonderful and onsite amenities, coffee bar and rooftop bar and restaurant were superb! "Loved the location. In walking distance and the water taxi if running is just outside the hotel. Unfortunately, when I went the first it wasn’t running, found out it was due to weather 103 degrees. Extreme heat caused a lot of things to shut down. What didn’t work out so well was on arrival when we checked in our room must have had some work being done on it. "Gym was ok but a lot of equipment did not work. The pool was great but extremely cold. The hotel rooms, food, and staff was excellent."

"Staff wasn’t helpful at all. We asked for a loading cart and had to wait for 30 minutes and still didn’t get it. The room had bugs and we had to go to Target across the street for bug spray and the sheets were stain with black crust or something. And they also had a wedding there that made it very unpleasant due to the wedding party was very loud and rude."

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained.
