"It’s a old place to stay. It it worked for one night"

"Average breakfast Totally over priced"

"We enjoyed this older motel. The room was comfortable, great shower, table with 2 chairs and a 3rd chair, so good to hang out in. We didn't meet the front desk person until late day 2, but that wasn't an issue. Wish they offered coffee before 7am. No in-room coffee, microwave or refrigerator."

"We only stayed one night as we were traveling through. It’s a beautiful historic home inside and out. The staff was very helpful. We didn’t go to breakfast as we stayed in and rested, but I’m sure it was good. Will stay again when we are in the area."

"The room was OK, parking is great, front desk people were great. The bathroom was poor. Lots of fruit fly type bugs around, the shower stall was disgusting, the shower head was on a non secured pipe so wobbled about, hot water took forever to arrive (what a waste). The toilet tank had a top that didn’t fit the toilet make. Very convenient location. TV was good. An additional water heater would really help."

"There was mold everywhere smelled terrible"

"I checked in at 3:00. At 5 or so the power went out. There was no back up lights or generator on property, and no one could tell us how long it would be off. I checked GA Power myself and was told it would be off 3 to 4 hours. We decided to Check out and ask for refund. They told me that since we booked thru Expedia there was no refunds. I tried to contact Expedia but I have not received a reply."

"Great location!"

"Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!!"

"I liked the balcony on the river. Very serene but truck traffic on road across the river was loud & every 15-20 minutes. Also, I requested a shower chair ( health issues) Staff would not furnish!!?? Suggest disabled to book elsewhere."

"The views are amazing. A great experience with affordable price. I'll be coming back for years."

"This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it!"

"The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

"Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet"

"It’s a nice place to stay"

"Coffee machine did not work properly, hair dryer in room 203 did not work. Housekeeping was shorthanded. Had to ask at front desk for towels and was told sit garbage outside door, never picked up. Definitely a step down from other stays at this location."

"Warm welcoming front desk, comfortable, clean room and good breakfast."
