"There was no microwave in the room and no breakfast. A housekeeper also attempted to enter our room without knocking or announcing herself in any way, over an hour before checkout time. The property was clean and quiet but I would not stay here again."
"While old the place met all my needs. Maybe a rug or mat by the doors as the floors are hardwood and the snow from my shoes made water puddles but I didn’t want to use towels. The bed was good. Easy check in and out. They were nice enough to let me check-in before I had to go to a meeting (enough though I couldn’t get into my room) as I wouldn’t be getting back to the hotel until late. I appreciated the way they were running their business."
"Parking was good. The little tiny balcony was nice overlooked a nice quiet park like area. Check in and breakfast was absolutely terrible and I would not stay there because of those two situations especially if you had a family. I went down for breakfast at seven and there were multiple people standing around waiting for food to be cooked. I finally got food at 7:25 and other people had gathered and then had to wait longer than I did. No empathy from the people working there no explanation as to why didn’t even get excuse me when they came out to drop food into the container. Their attitude was polite, but curt to everyone, not just me. My whole stay was like meeting a pretty lady and at first being please and then finding out how ugly and self centered she was on the inside. Even when I was checking out at the desk. I stated my intention of checking out, she took my “key” and then said, “ok”. And then just looked at me (no polite closing statement or any kind) I finally asked,” Is that all you needed from me?”her reply was, “yes” and I left. I felt like those 24 hours I was an unwanted guest instead of a paying one. While I never expect hotel staff to make me “feel” like they need serve me -I do expect based customer service and professional interactions. Don’t invite people for breakfast and then not be prepared to serve them and if you don’t want to interact with people who come to the desk - don’t work the desk."
"i love where the hotel location was at very nice neighborhood, however the rooms were very small restroom had no space whatsoever but overall, it was clean quiet and smell good also the city view was incredible!! I'll go again for sure"
"The hotel was incredibly clean, which was a definite plus. However, the soundproofing leaves something to be desired — given its location near a hospital and a main road, noise was noticeable throughout the night even with earplugs in.
The room also lacked some basic amenities I'd expect, like a complimentary bottle of water and a shower cap.
At check-in, the three staff members and a manager looked up and smiled when I walked in but didn't offer a greeting — I had to speak first. They appeared to be in the middle of a conversation with the manager, so customer focus felt lacking. No one mentioned the WiFi or offered any orientation to the hotel.
I had left a note on my reservation mentioning I was taking the day for self-care. When I arrived and asked about a complimentary room upgrade, I was told my loyalty status wasn't high enough — understandable, but a small gesture acknowledging the note would have gone a long way.
Overall, while the cleanliness was impressive, the service experience left me unlikely to return."
