"We had a very friendly welcome. Really liked the bar/club area where you can help yourself to hot drinks, soft drinks and snacks. It provided welcome refuge in the heat. On an evening staff come round taking orders for drinks /aperitifs. We booked a premium room with amazing views across the river to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The mattress was comfy. "Room had such an odd and strong smell. Maybe moldy. Ceiling and grout of shower was very dirty. Shower was annoying to use kept pointing outside of the area. There’s a small homeless encampment in the courtyard by the entrance as well. They had a security guard in the lobby at night at least. Staff however was nice and helpful."
