"We are local but we have an adult daughter living with us so we went to just get away, relax & stay cool while he was on vacation from work. We took our dogs with us and since it was very hot, we would walk the dogs in the yards beside & behind the building and we both smoke cigarettes so we would smoke while out there. "I found the Wingate Mansfield fine. It wasn’t comfortable, but it wasn’t uncomfortable on the plus side. The staff is very friendly. The property is clean. It looks nice. Our room was quiet. We got a good night sleep. The bathroom great and a good size. We had a bath stool in the bathroom that was literally the best seat in the room. The only seat for me to put on socks & shoes and wait for my roommate to finish getting ready since I didn’t want to climb up on the tall beds or roll over his bed...

The acting Manager Courtney was kind, attentive and made you feel like you were at home. Little comforts from a coffee bar and snack basket await you outside your room. "Hit and miss, but overall, positive stay. The beds were very stiff and not very comfortable. However, our stay was during a major heatwave and the AC was glorious. Continental breakfast is as would be expected for the price at this place."
