"For starters, my floor was so filthy. I use the bath towel to go from the bathroom to the bedroom to the bathroom and into the bedroom and it was pretty brown when I got done after three days when you walked across the floor it sounded like your feet were sticking to it. I brought this to the desk attention two times they told me oh it’s the soap we use on the floor. The room had a foul smell, which eventually went away. "The cost was reasonable. Expedia, discounts helped. The staff were a bit off, though we and they adjusted to make things work. (No pool towels were available for the adult time for pool and hot tub use) we used our room towels, then replenished those after. The rooms coffee pot was broken, and the available outlet was loose. And the room had a heavy scent of cleaning product. But it was close to the beach."

"The owner bent over backwards to make our one night stay comfortable and relaxing. The Admirals room was small and a bit difficult to navigate the hallway to the private bath for the visually handicapped but was not a problem otherwise. Breakfast was excellent. If you have a choice I'd stay in the Captains quarters, a larger room."

"Room was basic hotel room with a balcony and bay view down to the beach. Walkable to restaurants and coffee shop right across the street. No one on staff when we checked out so had to leave keys in the room. They did have parking onsite which was nice."
