"The check in process was smooth and the owner checking me in was lovely. Pleasant attitude and super friendly, which I truly appreciate. I also appreciated the upgraded room at no extra charge. I was in town for a 3 night stay to visit family and primarily my grand kids. I had my grand kids stay over with me for 2 nights, which they enjoyed. However, I do have 2 complaints. Housekeeping bangs on the door very early at 8:22am while we were still asleep on the first morning, on the 2nd morning I did put out the do not disturb sign and they still knocked on the door at 8:47am. Now when I travel I am usually up late visiting family and I like to sleep in on my lil vacations. This was way to early to be cleaning my room (which was already clean as I pick up every day) while we are trying to sleep. So because of this, I didn't have enough towels. So I called front desk after hours and a young lady told me I could go to the front desk for 4 more towels. I sent my son as he was there visiting me too. The young lady at the front desk asked him if housekeeping had come and he told her he didn't know as he was just there visiting me and she then told him not to steal the towels. This was disrespectful and not the way you treat guests. I am a paying customer and paid up front for a 3 night stay. Why on earth would I want to steal towels when I don't need them or want them. Bless my son for not letting me walk up to the front office and give that young lady a piece of my mind."
"Clean room, good A/C, breakfast was plentiful. Only complaints were that the check experience could have been better but not prohibitive; It took her a long time to wait on me, and then made me wait while she "typed some messages", then basically had to go through enough questioning and typing to get a mortgage, which she explained was necessary to lock down a deposit because I had used a third party to book the room.
The other thing I didn't like was that the elevator smelled like weed, but I found that to be ubiquitous in NM and CO.
I would stay there again."
