"Very nice place with beautiful views from the rooftop"

"Nice clean room on the first floor with great air conditioning for our hot spell. Friendly staff and great choices for breakfast. I will stay there again."

"Great motel..easy..clean..Great shower and comfortable bed. Love they have 5 pillows on the bed.. Great price for a very easy stay. Next to all of downtown restaurants..perfect. My wife and I loved it so much that we added a day for our quick vacation."

"The bathroom was terrible. There wasn’t enough light in the room, and everything was very, very old"

"Perfect little spot to sleep. Free parking a plus in this area."

"Room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, free parking was a plus and close to the freeway. We did not have the breakfast."

"The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of all the Laguna Beach has to offer. It’s close to a grocery store and the best breakfast and taco restaurants around. Although the hotel is somewhat dated, the staff are excellent. JUlie, the manager, was very nice and accommodating as were the other staff. The only issue we had was checking in after 8 pm when the front desk is closed however Rafael helped us find our room. Unfortunately the online reservationists are offsite and...

"Great stay at Ayres. The hotel is in great condition you can tell they take care of the property and they don’t overlook the little things. Staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. They smiled all the time and seemed genuinely happy to help and be there. Bed and pillows absolutely comfortable and cozy. The pool area and gym were well stocked with anything you might need and super clean. Complimentary breakfast was 10/10. I would definitely be staying at this hotel again!"

"Had sewage water leak from pipes into the bed of our truck, luckily all belongings and luggage had already been unpacked but had to clean truck bed before we left… was offered $200 off our stay but still haven’t been reimbursed. Waitress misunderstood my breakfast ordered and told me I could have what they brought me instead of bringing me what I actually ordered. Kids Silver Dollar pancakes were cold in the middle (sausage inside). Just not the best experience for the cost."

"this is a modest property, located a few miles north of the Mission and downtown area of San Juan Capistrano. The rooms were small but adequate for our needs, clean, and comfortable. I'd call this a "Budget +" accommodation. Nothing fancy. There was plenty of hot water, and nice fluffy white towels. A huge plus. The office staff was friendly and helpful, but they close up the office in the evening, and no one was there until after 7 AM. Just a head's up. If you are a self-sufficient...

"Everything was amazing!"
