Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. Holiday Inn Express Braintree by IHG
It was a good value stay before our flight from Stansted. The room was clean but a bit worn. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, though there was a shortage of seating as all the guests showed up at the same time. Would stay again.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Colchester
A real surprise. Looks dated from the outside but looks are deceptive. Modern and nice feel and the public areas and rooms are spotless. Friendly staff and breakfast was plentiful, hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
