"This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant and a nice convenience store on the property. The only drawback is the location which is a good bit away from Dublin City Center and the airport and taxis are expensive. There is a Dart station nearby but I did not use it so I cannot comment on how close or convenient it was to use."

"The hotel room was spacious and beautiful, and had wonderful old world amenities, but in a newly upgraded way. I love the fact that at night you could hear the ocean waves crashing across the street. Additionally, the staff was helpful and super pleasant. What a great place to stay and in a beautiful area!"

"The Mespil Hotel had the best breakfast of our 2-week trip to Ireland! Nice to start off with a hearty breakfast before touring all around. Great hotel and very helpful staff. Near the Grand Canal which we enjoyed walking, as well as other nearby neighborhoods and restaurants. A little bit further from key downtown attractions but easy to get there on foot, by bus, or quick taxi rides. LOVED this hotel!!! "

"Broc House had all amenities we required. I was a little worried about being so close to a hospital but it wasn't noisy at all. About a 10 min walk to DART (maybe 5 mins to various bus stops). Laundry was a bonus as we had been travelling for 3 weeks. Grocery store just a 5 min walk down the road was also convenient. "We stayed overnight for a concert so convenient to the 3 arena approx €20 to the 3 arena and in a convenient to local shops etc.Would happily stay again although being woke up at almost 1am by reception telling us we had ordered room service and a €5 charge to pay when nothing was ordered was the only down side as l couldn’t get back to sleep sadly "
