"The hotel on the outside looks very outdated and run down, when you enter the building there is an old “nursing home” smell. The walls and ceilings inside the room still have that old popcorn texture so it still has that outdated feel, however the furniture appliances and bathroom are updated nicely and very clean. "Had a great weekend stay at the Sonesta Resort in Hilton Head! The staff was friendly and the renovated guest rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable! Even with the resort under construction, nothing was off limits and the beach access was incredible. Would recommend, and just a note that first floor rooms tend to be for pets. This was not a problem for us but might be for future guests so if it is, book a higher floor!"

"This property is in an excellent location. Away from main streets and businesses. Surrounded by nice landscapes and water pools. Sometimes you don't believe that you are staying at a Holiday inn Hotel. And the price per night is the best above all. I will keep coming back again and again. "

"I greatly enjoyed my time here and wish I’d had more time to enjoy the inn itself. There are two upstairs “porches”, one with a hammock and the other with rockers. The breakfast is scrumptious and thoughtfully prepared. The inn keeper is friendly, well versed in local and world history, very helpful and responsive to guest requests and needs. "Staff and Facilities are excellent. The room and view were nice. Only problems I admit are hard for the facility to control and are common at most hotels. Can’t keep the door open to listen to ocean and enjoy the Oceanside room due to people smoking both cigarettes and dope on their balconies, and people out by the pool at all hours of the night raising hell.
