"I accidentally made a duplicate reservation and canceled the second one, which was obviously unnecessary. However, the hotel refused to issue a refund due to their policies. The mistake lasted only about five minutes and didn’t cause any issue or block the room I had selected. Even so, they kept the full amount ($600). It would have been simple to refund the money back to my card, especially since the other reservation was used. Very disappointing, honestly."

"When we arrived and talked with the very unhelpful manager, we were told the room we booked on hotels.com didn’t even exist, and the pictures on the site were inaccurate. They were unable to provide a room with the sleeping arrangements we needed, though we paid extra to have the accommodations, so we requested a cancellation. The hotel is under construction, and didn’t even have restroom signs up. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
