"A quick and easy drive from Mt Rushmore, the Rushmore Express was a comfortable place e for an overnight in this special place in SD. Breakfast was a “Continental”, featuring biscuits and gravy. Receptionist, Alejandra, was so kind and very helpful with something we needed."

"Surprisingly nice hotel - it would be perfect for people attending events at the monument. They have a very nice pool, breakfast was good and they offered a reception with drinks and popcorn at night including a cultural training from a Lakota gentleman. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The laundry on site was handy and the staff were super helpful as well. The gym is in the basement so we didn’t end up using that and the hot tub jets didn’t work."

"The room was clean and comfy. We loved having the small living space with the extra tv. I was able to shut the bedroom door while my man watched tv late without interrupting my sleep."

"Ha sido terrible , las sábanas estaban revueltas en el sofá cama y la cama no estaba completamente echa, tuvimos que pedir un cambio a lo que la persona de enfrente , que de escogí estaba ocupándose de la recepción y el lavado además de el mismo cambiar las sábanas , accedió de muy mala forma. El precio es exagerado para lo que es, habitaciones sucias oscuras y pequeñas . No volvería jamás!!"

"Good location for sightseeing. The property is very new. Everything is nice and well appointed. Breakfast is way above average. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Rapid City."

"The Roosevelt Inn was such a fun place to stay with family for a trip to visit Mt Rushmore! The room with loft had 2 queens and 2 twins and gave our family of 4 plenty of space to spread out and rest well. The game room was okay. The laundry was useful. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious with very kind staff. We especially loved all the quotes and history on the walls!"

"Stayed here 6/30/26. The TV worked when we checked in. When we returned to the room later the TV didn’t work. Called the front desk. They came down and unplugged it to reset it. Still didn’t work. We were told they’d give us 1/2 off because they didn’t have another room to move us to. On top of that, the room was dirty and had spiders in it. The bedside table wasn’t washed off and was sticky. There were long black hairs on the floor. Gross!"
