6/10 Okay
"The property seemed overpriced for a basic hotel. It was okay, but nothing special.
At check-in, the woman at the front desk did not acknowledge me at all. She just ignored me and continued doing whatever she was doing on the computer for a full minute while I stood there waiting to check-in. Then she said to another clerk "It's 3 o'clock, you can sign in and handle this". I felt like a situation to be handled, not a guest. The next clerk did apologize for the wait and was friendly as she checked us in.
The next morning, the same clerk (first one) was at the desk when I checked out. As I approached the desk, she didn't greet me or even look at me. She just said "Room number." I had to ask her to verify that there were no charges to the room. She didn't offer any information other than "you'll get an email". As someone in a hospitality industry, she could benefit from training on basic human relations.
The breakfast food was sufficient, but there were not very many tables. When we arrived, there was no place to sit."
"The room was clean and decent.bate minimum breakfast. No pool. The manager(s) did not speak English well. Check in was through a kiosk. Management live on site and there spicy cooking smell is prevalent. The property is showing its age."
"The place is well-decorated, quaint, clean, and quiet. Nicole was very kind, cheerful, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay very nice and relaxing. The spot is also very convenient, being near to downtown where all the shops are, being next to a small park you can jog at, but still being far away enough from establishments so you have a nice, quiet evening. It was great, I would come back again."
"Room was great but the stairway and hallway was freezing! I work on those types of ac heaters all the time. Who needs to keep units at 62 degrees? That's plain crazy! Thanks for the cold I got!"
"Great breakfast, air conditioner was turned on before our arrival, so the room was nice and cool. Believe me that is a big, big plus. I wish all hotels would do this. The front counter staff was awesome and got us hooked up with everything that we needed."
"Though it's not the Hilton it is a very clean and practical motel. Drive right up to your room. Makes for easy unloading of your luggage. No long walks from the parking lot down a corridor to your room. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Great place to stay if you're going to the Knoxville Speedway. Just a short 30 minute drive. Refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV, soap and shampoo. I highly recommend and we'll stay there again."
