"Amazing location! Also, the amenities such as the espresso machine or the refillable water bottles were very nice touches! I had read that some people said the room sizes were small but I found them to be quite sizable for a midtown hotel and comfortable overall (our party had both standard and terrace rooms). The front of house was so nice and very helpful. Would stay here again in a second!!"

"I enjoyed the breakfast options and, as a tea drinker, I greatly appreciated that the hot water did not come out of a container that previously held coffee (which ruins the taste of tea). Also enjoyed the breakfast room decor and seating options. It was really nice place to relax and have breakfast. The staff was very personable and helpful. The room was very clean which was appreciated and the beds were very comfortable. I'd just say that the room decor was a bit dated and a little worn...

"Our stay at Civilian was just what we needed. Incredibly close to Times Square, Broadway shows, and the areas around Manhattan. We have no complaints. The rooms were modest, but large enough to accommodate us for our short stay. We would love to visit again soon! "
