"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. "A very quaint home that was very comfortable for our family to stay in. We were close to the core area of Windemere, walkable for groceries and to many shops. Parking can be difficult at times but we always managed to find a spot."

"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "

"The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well. "Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...
