"I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Hilton. Bright, clean and incredibly professional and kind staff. The daily breakfast was fresh and a nice selection of toast, eggs, yogurt, cereals, juices l, teas and coffees. Lots nearby to walk to to grab a coffee or a few groceries. The pool is small but good enough for the kids. The gym has a great selection of cardio equipment and some weights. Would definitely recommend."

"It started when we arrived. No one at the front desk and there was a sign saying that they had stepped away and would be back shortly. 15 minutes later the person showed up, did not apologize for the wait, and checked us in. The room was very "tired" and my wife's right away said " don't take off your shoes. The bathroom floor was sticky, so layed down a towel. The sink porcelain was chipped and grout was stained. The sheets and towels were clean, but the bed had an old mattress that squeaked terribly. Breakfast wasn't bad and what I would expect from a mid-level hotel. In general, this was the second worst stay in a hotel/motel over45 years of travel."

"The staff was amazing!! Super friendly and showed us around the hotel. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were soft. There was a bar but I don't drink so never used it. The pool was heated and only 4 feet deep ( great for kids ). The breakfast was really good. Lots to choose from, yogurt, bacon, eggs, pancakes, ect. From now on I am only staying there when in Thunder Bay."
