"Unfortunately, La Ramblas was under construction during our stay making it quite loud and somewhat distracting from the charm and nostalgic views we had expected from this central location. The hotel itself and the staff were very accommodating, friendly and the breakfast was a great start to the day."

"The Meliá Sarrià is a really comfortable hotel. The amenities are excellent. Towels and bed sheets are premium quality which elevates the experience. And the breakfast is spectacular. Melia is definitely among the top options when staying in Barcelona. "

"The hotel looks absolutely beautiful, the staff were amazing and friendly. We were able to check in early which was great with no charge. The room was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to visit Barcelona very close to most of the tourist attractions within walking distance."

"Not worth the money at all. Towels had holes, shower rail /shower head didn't stay up, only 2 pathetic milk jiggers per day for 2, despite being given 4 sachets of coffee and 4 teabags- how does that work?!, stains on carpet and bed very firm, toilet flush button didn't work properly and finally the cleaner took one of our room keys. Not sure why this is rated 4 stars or what exactly we were paying over the odds for, maybe the unnecessarily huge tv that we weren't sat in the hotel room for. Nothing fits in the teeny tiny fridge, even the 4Euro bottles of water in the room didnt fit in. Thoroughly disappointed."

"This is a great hotel and not too far from everything in the centre of Barcelona. There is a big shopping centre right next to it and loads of bars and restaurants. I recommend it."
