"We had a spa balcony one bedroom unit. It overlooked the property and the port. The room was spacious and it had a full sized fridge, microwave AND a dishwasher which was a pleasant surprise. Even though there is only a fan in the bedroom, the living room air-con was sufficient to cool the entire unit. The rear car park was close to the lift. "My husband and I recently visited Airlie Beach for my 40th birthday, and chose to stay at The Boathouse Apartments as a treat. I am so glad we did, it was amazing! We had come across from Daydream Island around 10am and asked to leave our bags at reception until we could check in. "The water view room was light, bright and airy despite being a little small. Both cleaning and guest services teams were very professional and friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Despite being in the heart of town, the room was surprisingly quiet. An extra bonus was being on flat ground, near the water and within walking distance of most attractions. Happy not to have to hike/taxi the incredibly steep hills of Airlie after a night out. "

"We had a great 3-night family stay at Whitsunday Terraces in Airlie Beach. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the views are absolutely stunning, which really made the trip special. That said, the kitchen and bathroom are quite dated and in need of an upgrade. The most frustrating part was the lack of WiFi in the rooms, which was a real inconvenience during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay thanks to the location and views, but a few updates would make a big difference."
