"World class experience! First and foremost, the staff is excellent. From the bellhops like Carlos, who grabbed my bags instantly and truly wanted to help. To the front desk staff who cared very much about making sure I had a great experience. "The front desk and bell staff were outstanding. Superb service. The valet staff were the best I have ever experienced.
The catered Sunday brunch was great and the wait staff were excellent. The 11th floor rooms were large and very nice. The view was amazing; looking down on the rooftop gardens and event space. Top notch!"

"This place has the rundown appearance of a hotel that's well past it's hayday. The main issue is all the hidden additional fees that you have to pay once you arrive. It added an extra $80+ on to our one night stay which left a sour taste in our mouths. We were charged a resort fee even though we never used the resort facilities, and we were only there over-night so had no time to use them anyway. "This resort is the absolute BEST in Hollywood beach! My husband and I frequent South Florida and ever since we found the Diplomat we stay here as long as they have availability for us. The accommodations are next level- truly a resort, not just some hotel. From the helpful and friendly nature of the staff, to the amazing restaurants on site and the amazing pool/beach area- you will NOT be disappointed here!"
