"Outstanding holiday at a great location, accommodation and hosts. We recommend the Countryman Hotel to everyone who reads this. We will be returning in the near future for definite. The breakfast was amazing as well."

"Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there. Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor person being sick "

"This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality. The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks. Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order. They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok. The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open."
