"We checked in at 4in the afternoon. When we walked in the door at the end of the hall it smelled like smoke and I thought maybe someone was cooking in their room. But we realized it was a smelly food being cooked in the breakfast area. I believe it was Indian food. I didn’t want to smell that or have that smell in my room. There were not enough towels for the two of us, and they don’t clean daily so you have to go to the front desk for extra towels. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 4 because of the reasons listed."
"First when we arrived, we noticed that the lobby and the halls were not air conditioned. When we arrived at our room it had an odor to it. There were three lights that were burnt out. Then in the bathroom, the wall next to toilet was really dirty from splatters. Do not think it has ever been washed. Needless to say, we will not be staying at a Clarion again. All of the amenities were the cheapest and roughest they could get. The breakfast was so so."
"The room floor was wet when we got there and smelled of a chemical cleaner smell so bad. Mind you we checked in at midnight so it’s not like it had just been cleaned. The carpet in the room felt moist and we figured out why in the morning. The carpet under the air conditioner was soaking wet. When I checked out I told the clerk and all they did was say oh I’m sorry. I honestly felt like the restroom at the Loves truck-stop was cleaner."
"I enjoyed my stay in New Harmony. The town is quiet and quaint, and a nice place to relax. The staff at the New Harmony Inn was friendly and helpful. My room and the hotel building itself where I stayed were a little old and a little bit in disrepair. But it was also clean and quiet. Overall, my stay was a very pleasant experience."
