"The rooms are newly remodeled, but they are pretty much sticklers on not allowing check in until 4 pm, even if rooms are ready. We did not find that there was a hot tub. Take photos of any emails or postcards for complimentary rooms or special promotions. We found they did not show up and you had to have proof and find a manager to have them reinstated. The new breakfast buffet is an upgrade and we enjoyed the chicken and waffles, but especially the waffle machine. Overall, it was very good."
"The breakfast was not good. Runny watery eggs and sausage links and patties. The tiny muffin was ok. The area was filled with drug addicts including the staff. It was so bad i left 1 day early and they didn't accommodate me by refunding one night. Money down the drain."
"The room was on the small side but not awful for 2 people. Biggest issue was having a room on the top floor and as far from the elevator as possible. Made bringing our stuff ruff in and out a bigger pain than it needed to be. "
Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Dunbar - Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"Staff - excellent. And I had some crazy needs.
Amenities - far more than I would have anitipated.
I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and it's amenities, by the television, and by the ease of the staff (felt like I'd known them forever),"
"This wasn't my favorite hotel. The room was EXTREMELY HOT. Even after setting the temperature to cool and putting it all the way down, it was still 74° the entire time. We even had an employee tell us it would be better to turn it off all together and leave the balcony door cracked. It did cool down a bit but we didn't find this trick out until the last night. Also when we got the room it asked on Expedia if we wanted a balcony or not. So I picked the balcony but you can't actually use the balcony. It is blocked off to where you can only open the door 4 in. The bar/restaurant was fine and the lobby was very pretty but I think if we find ourselves in this area again I will definitely be looking at other options. "
