"The resort had plenty of fun amenities and was perfect for a relaxing family trip. I enjoyed the fitness classes (yoga and Pilates). We spent most of our time in the kids pool, which we liked better than the bigger pool. The mini golf was really fun and our son loved fishing on Oak Creek. There are a few restaurants within walking distance so we didn't have to leave the property and we able to fully relax. They also had an arcade, which was really nice when we got too hot or there was a monsoon. I wish they had more games or the video games they did have were working (several were constantly not working).
The only downsides were: upon check in, we were pressured to attend a time share talk and had to decline three times. The grounds are a bit dated and in disrepair. The mushroom in the pool has clearly not been working for a long time, there are tiles missing from stairs, etc. The room was also pretty dated. We had a two bedroom with a kitchen and the kitchen was very small (one person at a time only) and the electric stove was nearly useless.
If you can overlook some of that, then it was a great place to spend some time. We will probably go back every summer because it's so close to where we live and such an easy way to find things for all our kids (i.e., swimming and fishing)."
