"Accessibility Guest Highly Recommends: I have mobility issues and use a mobility scooter to get around, and Zanzibar Locke Hotel was the best. I reserved the Twin Accessible Room, and it was very spacious, with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining areas, along with an accessible bathroom. I had no issues getting my scooter in and out of the room or navigating with my walker. The bathroom was fully accessible with bars, a shower seat, and all the accessible features you would need. I can easily see it accommodating a wheelchair or other mobility devices. It was perfect for my needs. Also, the common areas of the hotel were easily accessible. We ate in the dining room twice and had coffee in the coffee shop daily. The scooter wasn't an issue. The staff was great to work with. I purchased an inexpensive walker at "Active Living Pharmacy" two blocks north of the hotel, and the hotel staff arranged to donate it to a local charity since I was not going to bring it home. The location couldn't have been better! I was able to scooter all around central Dublin, from Trinity University to St. Patrick's Cathedral, to the Guinness Storehouse, to the Temple Bar Neighborhood. Speaking of Dublin, the only issue I had was that some of the old stores had steps to get into, but usually there was one next door that didn't. I got into every place I wanted to go. It's a very accessible city. Go and have a Guinness at the Palace Bar."
