"The property is new - only opened for 3 months. The hallway air fresheners are overwhelming to the point of toxicity. You are eating and tasting the smell. That can be poisonous to some with the chemicals in those things. The cleaning staff is doing a minimum job - in one of our rooms, the bottles in the shower were empty (this hotel uses the larger locked bottles for body soap, shampoo and conditioner which I do think is smart and nice, but they then need to be checked and filled). For being a new building, there are things already that need to be fixed and repaired. No one manning the desk visible in the morning. Breakfast is not properly manned to keep food available and so we left and had to run through McDonalds. This location needs to step up. The property is beautiful and the beds nice but these critical comments do need to be fixed - especially the air freshener situation before I think of staying there again. It's been a week and the $50 hold on the credit card per room is still holding with my bank and not released. I'm calling them next."
"In my room there wasn't a bathtub, but a walk in shower. This was great for us as we are older adults with some disabilities. What I didn't like, was the toilet was low on the floor."
"The breakfast was actually awful, cold eggs and breakfast meats. The warmers were not warm. The apple juice dispenser was broken and in The coffee is from a machine that was not monitored and every time I went for coffee all I got was a very watered down something, mostly hot water. But, it was in a convenient location and quiet."
"The value is in the prime location, but not the room. We paid far too much for a windowless room with stained carpet, no lamp on far bedside table, noisy environment (music from bars, clear conversations from other rooms, footsteps and furniture being moved overhead at 2:30am) and worst of all, variable shower water temp and ultimately a hot water fail. "
"The property was great outside but once you enter the smell is horrible like dirty mop water! Then the room I got was so mess up, and it stink! Then banging in the ceiling. Ask the front desk for some towels he said he can’t help me with that I was very shock! Baseboards were coming out the wall you can see they just use super glue, dirt and rust around the doors and a/c unit. Horrible!"
"So superior in every area. Staff, restaurant, amazing room, great pool, park and river in walking distance, lobby decor. Loved every minute of our short stay here."
