"The room was clean but overall hotel needs lots of TLC. Only seen one member of staff. He was receptionist, bartender and possibly waiting on breakfast tables, so he was kept going. For what we paid for overnight stay, we have no complaints. Main thing was the room and en suite were clean. If you want 5 star you need to be prepared to pay a lot more than this hotel charges. Overall it did the job."

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Creggans Inn. The hotel is in a stunning location right on the lochside with ample parking and reasonably hidden secure parking for our motorcycles. The check in was faultless and the rooms immaculate and very, very big with massive bathrooms. The food was really good with a reasonable choice, We rated highly the comprehensive breakfast with ample juice, tea and coffee, Delicious fruit salad, hearty Scottish cooked breakfast and pastries ( although not all in one...

"The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to Loch Long, which makes for a great setting whether you’re there for work or leisure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room and bathroom were both very clean, which I really appreciated after long days. The hotel itself is a bit dated, and could benefit from some modernisation, but everything was functional and comfortable. Despite the older feel, I’d happily stay again thanks to the location, cleanliness, and solid service."

"Sadly, we had an awful stay and would not return. Positives: breakfast staff very friendly, chatty and welcoming. Porridge was lovely. No problem with parking. Negatives: Upon arrival, chap on reception was having conversation with someone on phone and continued to do so whilst we checked in. Felt this unprofessional and rude. Family room. Lock barrel to the room loose. Curtains didn't fully fit the windows, so we were overlooked by another room straight onto daughter's bed, which made her feel...
