"Despite some other visitors concerns I had a lovely experience. Easy to book, called a couple of times before to discuss arrival times and confirm bookings, staff were pleaseant and helpful on the call. On arrival on a busy and noisy Friday night, staff again were lovely and helpful, locals/regulars didnt stare or make us feel unwelcome, found parking right in front of the property, basically it was seamless - very welcome after a long night drive. Rooms were spacious, well-equipped and clean....

"Our twin room was quite small, but,clean and adequate. The hotel is centrally located, everything is within walking distance. The patio overlooks the harbour and is lovely to watch the sunsetting. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will certainly return. "

"My room provided was on the top floor, but there is no elevator. The woman who checked me in carried my big heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs. I'm so grateful for her help. I have some mobility issues with stairs. Everything else is super comfortable. Excellent water pressure, soft fluffy towels, big wonderful bed and bedding. "

"I’ve been staying at this Muthu for many years now. The reasons for coming back have been the view, facilities and the ease of parking. Recently, the staff have remained consistent and I’ve found them to be polite, pleasant and happy to engage. We love the lounge area and the pool. Some updating could be done, but the rooms have the dated quirkiness which is appealing. It would also be nice if repeat customers were recognised for their loyalty. I’m not sure if Muthu’s systems allow for such...
