"Was just a last minute booking on my long way home, but it turned out to be the best night of my two weeks in Scotland. My suitcase was carried upstairs by the young man who welcomed me in reception and explained about the restaurant and breakfast times. I arranged my bookings at both. Very impressed with both meals. Breakfast was not all self serve but freshly cooked as per my order. Room was superb with every attention to detail supplied."

"Lovely traditional Scottish B&B - beautiful building, huge very comfortable bedroom with gorgeous views out to the hills behind town and delicious home cooked breakfast every morning. Very friendly owners with lots of helpful advice for what to do and where to go int the local area. Right in the heart of town so easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommended and will definitely return"

"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful to wake up...

"Staying on a working farm was so beautiful. The cows and sheep were beautiful and it was great waking up and seeing them each day. It was a comfortable, lovely home. It is centrally located near Sterling, Glasgow. Loch Lomand and Edinburgh. "
