This former gold rush town features historic casinos and offers visitors the opportunity to descend into the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine. Visit between May and October when the Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow Gauge Railway offers scenic rides through the stunning Rocky Mountain landscape.
Cripple Creek has many history museums, shops, and attractions to enjoy! No traffic lights in the town and you can walk everywhere! In the summer, there is a free shuttle too.

There needs to be more pet friendly grassy areas, not just concrete and asphalt. But Cripple Creek really needs more restaurant choices with better menus, that are open everyday and stay open past 9 p.m. in the evening.

Everyone needs to visit and go to a play at the Butte theater. Local theater staffed by a professional play company. Integral part of the local scene there.

Cripple creek is a gambling town for sure especially in off season outside of the Ice Castles there isn't a whole lot but you're in the mountains so plenty of history and things to explore. Def check out the Jail Museum if you're into Wild West hist.
