"Staff were so friendly! I was half an hour early for check in and only came in to ask about the car if I could leave it there to grab some lunch but they allowed me to check in early and sign the tablet for my car! I will definitely be coming again. Breakfast was lovely too. Taking the order whilst going in to grab some continental. Very quick service with hot food."

"Very convenient to the airport, lots of parking and lots of really nice cosy areas to sit and work undisturbed between flights or meetings. Its a really funky hotel. Food was good and the breakfast ticked all the boxes."

"The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful."

"If I could give a minus score I would. It was advertised as a hotel that provided an airport shuttle. They do not. No one at reception and no eating facilities until Dinner! Nothing by the hotel except car lots. Room was worn and carpet and furniture stained. My room was an adjoining room with no sound proofing between. Food and coffee was terrible. Certainly not worth $178 a night! Would not return."

"It is convenient to park your car at this inn. Highland Gate is not the inn but the the restaurant. The Highland Gate restaurant and Marton's Inn are in two separate buildings. The inn's outside apearance and inside conditions are quite mediocre: carpet in the hallway looks dirty at every entrance to the room; there is no rack or shelve for suitcases though the room size is decent; the bathroom has a peculiar smell (not stinky but unpleasant to me), and the double bed (made of two single beds)...

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scone Arms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the improvements already completed look fantastic. Our room had been fully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bar area has been completely updated and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect location with courtesy shuttle to the airport, and easily accessible from downtown Edinburgh via taxi, Uber or Lyft.
