"Need a hot tub. Staff was friendly."

"The building, room, and furniture all seem to be brand new. (Obviously an older mom and pops that was remodeled well.) I wasn't able to sample the breakfast because I had to leave early, but the property was clean, the desk staff was available later in the evening, and the price was very competitive with my Expedia status. What a pleasant surprise! The location was convenient and I would definitely stay here again."

"It's an older hotel, and it's not perfect, but it was well kept, and the staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable but not luxurious, and I slept just fine. There isn't much for breakfast, but several places are close by. If you need a place to stay in North Vernon, I think it's the only choice and sure beats driving to Seymour. It has a pool, it looked nice, but I did not get in it. There is only one washer and dryer, and they worked just fine for me."

"Room was very big and had a separate seating area which was very nice. It looked very clean however had an unpleasant odor that we thought was just from being closed up but didn't go away after leaving door open fir a bit and running air-conditioner. The tub drained extremely slow so had to stand in ankle deep water while showering. Other than those 2 things, it was a nice, clean, roomy and affordable property."

"I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, so it’s not really that bad, the pool is never usable, the breakfast is a joke, the rooms are worn and the bathroom is especially worn out. Why do I stay there? Price, convenience and the staff. The place is right off the highway, quiet and safe feeling, the price is the best I could find for Kentucky Derby week, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels that were far worse, it isn’t the Hilton, but the television works,...

"This was exactly what you would expect out of this chain of hotels. Clean, comfortable, welcoming… But nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was helpful and the rooms were spacious. There were no surprises and everything you need for a great night stay is there."
