"Hotel is nice. all main areas BREAKFAST, ELEVATOR, HALLEAYS, ENTRY have no air conditioning with no estimated date of fixing. Seems likes its been broken for awhile and owner is not fixing. the room air conditioners do work great with no issue. breakfast is good but ur in heat. rooms are decent. the blackout shade in room i was in was partially broken...."
"Really nice, clean, and friendly. The only complaint was when entering and exiting the building these were tables and chairs outside for smoking. Yuck. Smoking should be away from the front entrance, other than that the place was great."
"Not sure if they were short staffed but the check-in process was a mess. There were many people that sat and waited for rooms to be cleaned and available. Eventually, we were given a key to our second room only to find out that someone was already in there.
Also, this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at for quite some time that didn’t offer complementary coffee in the lobby.
On the positive side, it was a clean hotel with comfortable beds."
"This is an older property that received a makeover/reboot in the last decade. It has plenty of charm, including staff, though it might not seem as modernized as some might prefer.
Regardless of all that, there are two major draws here: if you like the cocktail hour or if you happen to be a lap swimmer, this place is a standout. The pool is especially impressive, and attracts swimmers from the area. The scene in the evening was quite lively.
The “morning after” scene was a relative letdown: it appears to have been a business decision not to do much more than coffee in the lobby, which seemed a shame. Also, although there appear to be breakfast options nearby, there wasn’t a very viable way to reach them on foot.
Still a pleasant surprise overall."
