The team that looks after the rooms is also exceptional. Having seen some other people’s reviews, I think you need to bear in mind that this is a building which is more than 100 years old, and it has been updated to a very comfortable and pleasant experience. "This motel was satisfactory for our one night stay. Checking in was easy and Michael was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but a bit dated. The beds were comfortable. The only negative for us was the ancient airconditioner on the wall. It could not be programmed with the remote and we had to ask Michael to set the temperature for us. During the night when it cut in it sounded like a helicopter taking off and woke us up repeatedly. Eventually we had to just turn it off and hope the room...
