"Much improved… visited 2022 and was disappointed with the club breakfast, poor food and beverage options there and slightly tired space. This has been revamped and is now worthy of a 5* hotel. Breakfast choices excellent this time in the club, improved quality and options! Proper, fresh orange juice not diluted. The rooms are the same and very clean but starting to feel a little tired so could do with a refresh. Staff friendly and pleasant but communication surrounding pool closures is poor....

"My friend and I booked two rooms in this hotel. To start with I suppose to have a VIP access, it was anything but.. the hotel has no lift and we had to carry our heavy luggage to our rooms by stairs. My friend's room was not clean ( the carpet was heavily stained) , the drains for the hand wash basin was partially blocked , the pressure for the shower was very low and toilet flushing was not working properly. The air-conditioning was not working properly in both rooms. All in all we don't...

"A wonderful, new boutique hotel where we stayed 5 nights in May - about 5 minutes walk from the main Pile gate, just far enough away from the maddening crowds. The staff were superb - super friendly and competent. The physical hotel is beautiful with great finishes and tastefully done. Breakfast was excellent, with a broad number of gourmet quality selections - you can always tell by how delicious each orange, fig, and blueberry is on the fruit plate. "this property is not on the beachfront!! You have to walk down 10 flights of stairs to go to the beach and you have to pass through some pretty nasty unfinished half done buildings to get there. Their dinner buffet was really poorly educated. All the meat was cold. The rooms are decorated in a blue fishy style, but the atmosphere is unpleasant. there was no staff to help us with our bags or guide us to our rooms"

The location cannot be beat - right on the Lapad promenade close to restaurants, bars, stores and the beach.
