"Latimer House is in the perfect location for Bowness & Windermere. The property has 5 parking places on a first come first basis (the accommodation has 7 rooms) but the block has many free parking available and so parking was no problem at all. "

"It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "

"A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. "We had the luck of staying during the week of Halloween. the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful Halloween event happening and we especially enjoyed the owl show. "

"Stayed in room 6 on the top floor for a romantic weekend away with the Mrs. The room was lovely and the bath was a really nice added extra. We had a slight issue with one of the radiators not heating which caused the room to be cold, however I called one of the provided numbers and an electric heater was provided within literally 5 minutes by a lovely girl working there. Breakfast was really nice and the staff were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend considering a stay here and...

"Exceptional place to stay if visiting the Bowness area. Absolutely spotless throughout. Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. Hospitality is secind to none with lovely hosts.Will definitely return."
