"The Marina Inn is a small hotel located in the county run harbor and owned by the county government.The hotel was built in the early seventies as an alternative to the pricier privately owned city hotels, and possibly as a convenience to the boaters who dock in the harbor. "The proprietors are so friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are very clean and pleasant. This is my second stay, and it was just as good as the first. The shared kitchen is an added bonus, and is well equipped. It's also very close to the beach trail, so ideal for runners or hikers. The only slight negative is the proximity to the freeway, which is noisy, so if that bothers you, bring some earplugs. The location is great, and the parking is plentiful."
