"From check-in to check-out this historic hotel was perfect. Stepping out of the taxi, we were greeted by the doormen who took our bags up to Lobby level and we were checked-in quickly. Our room was ready early as our flight was an early one. Such a blessing for that. The Lobby is gorgeous. We had a large spacious clean room, with safe, big comfortable beds, high quality linens, bathrobes, bath towels, toiletries were always filled as were the coffee, tea, creamers, etc., daily water bottles...

"This is a nice hotel in a safe area. Very convenient to downtown Charleston without staying in the hustle and bustle- parking was great and in a well lit area. Customer service was excellent. Everybody was warm and welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the complementary breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again."

"Had to book an unexpected overnight trip to be close by for doctors appointments and testing. Hotel was clean, felt safe. Close to doctors office. Staff nice. Water pressure great. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Would recommend hotel."

"It was quiet. Room was clean and smelled great. Bed was comfy and heat/ac worked properly. Friendly customer service. Breakfast was pancakes yogurt fruit cereal and water coffee and juice. Will be revisiting in the spring. "
