"We had a wonderful stay in the Blue Room Downstairs. We had a private bathroom and everything we needed. There were four of us sharing, the beds were comfy, everything was very clean and the hotel itself was very unique looking. Drinks were available to buy at any time too"

"The room is situated in a very nice house on one of the amsterdam bridges. From architectural point of view is fantastic. However if you have a large suitcase forget to bring it to the room as you have a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Concerning noise, you will have the live with the tram crossing the bridge ... that is quite loud and you will have light very early as the blinds are not blocking the sun.
For us all those points were some how acceptable as the place is lovely....

"Das Zimmer ist für eine Person ok. Für 2 Personen ging das eigentlich gar nicht wir mussten unsere Koffer im Auto lagern da im Zimmer kein Platz war. "Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 10. Stock. Da wir uns bei laufender Klimaanlage leicht erkälten, schlafen wir bei offenem Fenster. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es sehr leise, sobald man das Fenster geöffnet hat, war es unfassbar laut, so dass man den Fernseher nicht mehr verstehen konnte! Das war für zwei Nächte wirklich eine Zumutung, ein Zimmerwechsel wurde von der Rezeption abgelehnt. Nicht zu empfehlen!"

"Always a great hotel and my first pick whenever I go to the Netherlands. On this trip I had 4 separate stays at this hotel. My platinum status was acknowledged 3 times and I was upgraded twice. At my 2nd stay the lady at the front desk apparently did not know free upgrade was a thing for Expedia platinum members. As it was only a one night stay I thought it not worth the hassle.
