Fantastic location, accommodation and staff.

What a fantastic location. Everything was spotless and we had a great breakfast. They couldn’t do enough for us. The view from our bed was superb, pity it wasn’t whale season.

This place is amazing

We stayed here for two nights and had a suite. If you stay here you must get a suite. The view of the sea is amazing with the large windows across the front of the room. If you don't have a suite you can still get the same view from the communal balcony downstairs. The staff are very sweet. Breakfast is good. It is continental but they also cook egg and bacon to order for you. It is located on a really quiet but safe area along with a few other holiday residences so it is completely quiet. For eating of an evening they book you a table at the local restaurant which is excellent and very cheap. We also ate in Hermanus which about 30 minutes away. The room was spotlessly clean and we loved the truffles they left every night. There is also an honesty bar.

Schönste Lodge auf unserer Reise

Tolle Lodge, sehr modern eingerichtet. Toller Service und leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Zur Kaffeezeit gab es immer kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee sowie selbstgebackenen Kuchen im Aufenthaltsraum. Sehr gemütlich. Gerne immer wieder!

Atemberaubender Blick

Wunderschönes Hotel direkt an den Klippen mit tollem Blick auf den Atlantik. Wir hatten die Suite mit großer Fensterfront direkt auf das Meer. Einmalig schön. Das Guesthouse und der ganze Ort strahlt eine ansteckende Ruhe wieder, die Essensempfehlungen im Ort waren sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, dann zur Zeit der Walbeobachtung.

Schönes Zimmer in schöner Umgebung

Wir hatten das Zimmer Nr1 im ersten Stock mit Wahnsinns Aussicht auf das Meer. sei es vom Bett oder von der Badewanne - die Aussicht ist spektakulär! Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Frisches Brot und Marmelade; Wurst und Käse; Spiegeleier und vieles Meer. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit im Whalesong verbracht. Wohl eines des schönsten Zimmer in diesem Ort.

Ein tolles Hotel, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Hotel liegt am Strand und verfügt über einen grandiosen Blick in die Bucht. Am Morgen konnten wir Unmengen von Delphinen beobachten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Fab location

Lovely hosts very friendly and amazing views. Saw more whales from the hotel balcony than from the whale watching boat. Downside no door on loo or bathroom, so unless you don't mind hearing your partner on the toilet this room is not for you.

Ascoltando le balene

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso due notti in questo meraviglioso lodge. Abbiamo scelto la suite vista mare e mai abbiamo fatto scelta migliore. La suite è situata al primo piano e la parte che da sul mare è completamente a vetri. È stata un'emozione indescrivibile stare sdraiata sul letto o immersa nella vasca idromassaggio e guardare le balene nuotare e saltare fuori dall'acqua proprio di fronte a noi! La suite ha anche un piccolo terrazzino dove si può stare seduti ad ammirare lo spettacolo. Indimenticabile il tramonto infuocato di rosso. La sera, nel silenzio, è possibile sentire il canto delle balene e ammirare le stelle. Il lodge è molto accogliente ed è possibile, previa comunicazione alla proprietaria, cenare e degustare un buon vino. Madre e figlia gestiscono il lodge, aiutate da alcune ragazze molto gentili. Vi consiglio questo posto se cercate tranquillità e volete sognare. Mi raccomando, non dimenticate il binocolo se volete ammirare pienamente lo spettacolo nella baia.

Wir kommen gerne wieder

Kleine, sehr schön gelegene Lodge direkt am Meer. Walfischbeobachtung in den Monaten August bis Dezember direkt von der Terrasse aus möglich. Nur 2 Fahrstunden von Kapstadt entfernt. Zimmer und Lounge/Aufenthaltsbereich sehr stillvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtet.

Super tolle Lage

Lodge in super toller Lage direkt gegenüber dem Meer mit Walen morgens uns abends. Das Inhaberehepaar war sehr freundlich und wir erhielten gute Tips für Tagestouren. Der Abend mit dem Menue, das die Beiden für die Gäste gekocht haben, war sehr lecker. Ein unterhaltsamer Abend mit den anderen Gästen. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

aussergewöhnliches Guesthouse

Wir haben 2 Tage in der Whalesong Lodge verbracht. Dank Lainy und Stanley fühlt man sich nach kurzer Zeit wie zu Hause und nicht wie in einem Hotel. Die Lage ist einfach grandios. Wir hatten die 2 Tage direkt vor dem Haus Wale. Man sitzt auf der Terrasse mit einem Glas Wein in der Hand und geniesst den Sonnenuntergang und die tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht. Das Frühstück war auch grosse Klasse. Wir hatten nirgends ein Besseres. Wir können die Whalesong Lodge nur empfehlen.

Great hotel for watching whales.

Great location, very friendly staff, amazing breakfasts and luxurious room. Not the cheapest place to stay but certainly worth the money, particularly liked being able to wake up and see the whales from my bed! The location is fabulous although dinner options were limited, but I would definitely stay there again.
