"I did a quick one night trip to see a concert. This is a really cool old hotel with gorgeous first floor, which has been preserved and is a must see. The lobby to the hotel is actually on the second floor and once you’re on the second floor, there are actually two hotels. Be sure to look for the signs. It’s a little confusing but not a major issue; it’s just something you usually don’t see in a hotel. Another thing you usually don’t see in a hotel is NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE. This is my one complaint with this hotel. I think it’s ridiculous to not have a mini refrigerator in your hotel room. The room was clean, bathroom was clean with a spacious shower and large vanity. Staff at both check in and check out were extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a valet parking service but you don’t need one. There’s a public parking garage next door and one across the street; there are also several other public parking garages a block or two away if you’re traveling light and don’t mind walking with your luggage. The hotel is within walking distance to the Great American Ball Park and Heritage Bank Center. That’s all I can comment on because it was such a short stay. I would stay at this hotel again. I booked through Hotels.com and got an excellent rate."
