"What a wonderful two night “staycation”! The hotel is beautiful and beds are extremely comfortable. We had some great meals at the Monarch and loved the freshly baked cookies each day and coffee each morning. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful. Even though there were lots of events going on and lots of guests, our room was very quiet. We can’t wait to come back! "

"Condo itself was nice, however, if you need it dark to sleep, you will not like these condo units. There is a lot of outside night lights around the complex from various businesses so even in the middle of the night it's half lit up with the blinds drawn and the curtains closed."

"Usually stay here and love this hotel. Front desk staff were efficient but not as welcoming as usual."

"Needed a place close to Bayou Music center and it was perfect. Was a little noisy as I was close to the fire doors and stairwell. And every time someone flushed their toilet there was a very startling noise. But the price, location and comfy beds were worth it. I think I’ve found my go to place to stay for downtown Houston."

"The property was great and the pool area was excellent. There’s lots if great dining options around and it’s a 10 minute walk along the late to get into the main centre. Unfortunately, our room faced the motorway and the constant noise from the cars made it difficult to sleep - even with earplugs. Due to that, I won’t be back for this price. "

"The condo was perfect. Easy walking to the the birding/turtle reserves, plenty of dining options we we wanted to go out but had everything we wanted in the kitchen, if we didn't. The pool and beach are right there"

"Overall good for the price. Mostly clean little studio. Dirty around toilet hinges, dust & yuk in closet. Towels were cheap, thin & old. Only two flat, thin pillows but a very comfortable bed. Very well lit parking lot. No carpet which I really liked. We went to a concert at ATT stadium & it was very easy to access both coming & going. Would book again but bring my own towels & pillows. "
