"Upon arriving at the hotel, we had to wait 15 minutes for shift change. Once somebody finally arrived, we got checked in and tried to find the room and we greeted by police officers asking us what we were doing there. We said we were gonna stay for the weekend and they told us that we should leave and find another hotel. They were in the process of arresting someone and towing a vehicle. It smelled like marijuana all over even though there were signs that said 100% smoke free zone. We laughed because people were standing in front of the sign smoking. The room was not clean by any means. There was trash bags outside piled high around all the areas for days. The room next to us was absolutely disgusting. The door was left wide open with piles of trash beds tore apart and a very strong urine smell coming out of the room, the doors stay open for two days and was never cleaned once. We were supposed to stay through Monday, but when we asked for extra to towels because the room only had two and there was four people in the room. The front desk laughed at us and said you can try taking them to laundry and exchanging them. Maybe they’ll give you a new ones we turned around and decided to pack our stuff and leave right then and there at 10 o’clock on Sunday morning. This place was so bad that I wouldn’t even recommend it for a homeless person. It’s a shame that it’s even affiliated with a franchise."
"Non smoking room had been smoked in and the bathroom fan didn’t work so the smell stayed and was masked with some sort of strong spray they didn’t work.

"There was no concession at the water park; two of the four slides were broken. There was no free breakfast as Google stated. Food was found in the air conditioning vents. The room was dirty, and the hotel grounds were poorly maintained. etc."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Woodhaven by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"My kids loved the pool area very clean and the front area had fresh cookies and water containers with lemon slices one day and then orange slices so refreshing coffee bar awesome great breakfast nice maid service Would definitely recommend and return"
"My only very minor gripe I had was that whichever staff cleaned the room since the previous guest forgot to include bath towels. Like, the wash cloths and hand towels weren't missed. It was only a minor inconvenience that was easily resolved.
Also, please note: the front desk attendant did a very good job quickly resolving this and should be praised by their manager."
