"The Hotel is an older hotel but it is in great condition. We found it to be charming, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, i have no complaints. I would stay here again. My only complaint was the lighting in the halls was dark."

"The mattress was softer than it should be. When I checked in the staff was a bit surly. They put me in a room on the third floor with no elevator and I’m 65. I emailed in advance where I could get breakfast in the area and their recommendation made no sense and a Google search didn’t turn anything up. It’s a weird place and I don’t plan to return. "

"The price I saw online at Expedia.com was different than the price I paid. Had to pay $90 extra than the price I saw online, when I got to hotel. Not hotels fault, Expedia had the wrong price posted for the room!!"

"Very nice apartment style rooms. It has all the amenities of gone. Washer and dryer along with silverware plates drinking glasses shot glasses. Coffee maker, and a coffee grinder. We booked though Expedia , a specific room type for the space , when we arrived we were placed into a different class of room. When I went to the front desk to inquire the women working was brutally rude and swore she upgraded me with a better view . "Great hotel for the price. The $55 dollars for valet parking is pretty high considering the parking lot is 20 feet away from the front door. But overall in a good location from everything downtown."

"Very upscale hotel and room had a beautiful view of the Detroit River. Front desk allowed me to check-in early so that was nice of them. Housekeeping didn't clean on the weekend and I was told it was standard practice to save on resources. While I understand that and didn't need daily housekeeping, it would've been better if I was told that in advance (or if the room had a sign / card indicating that). Rooftop bar is also very nice and there's also a decent sized pool and gym in the basement."

"We did not try bar or restaurant. The restaurant doesn’t open till 5pm for dinner so if you’re wanting to catch an early dinner you will either need to bring in or find somewhere else to eat. "
