"Large loft style rooms with kitchenette which is nice. The location is right in the downtown area with easy access to walk to restaurants, bars, etc... There is a bit of noise in the evening with cars going by and vagrants. Upon check in with their keyless entry an email was sent to my cell phone. Went up and down the elevator 3 times to try to access the room with the cell phone tap entry method. After 3 unsuccessful tries a front desk staff finally gave me a keypad code to enter the room. This was a bit of an inconvenience with the back and forth & waiting especially with a cart of bags and a wife and kid. The hotel needs to get the room key system dialed in or go back to keypad codes or physical room keys. It's one of the worst door key issues I've ever had. Having said that the doormen were very kind with greeting and opening up the door and keeping the rift raft from the sidewalk away from guests and from going into the property. We were in town for a Tigers game and the parking lot is right across the street which you have to pay for but they give you in and out driving/parking privileges. If it's a solo trip or with just some friends it'd be okay for doing Detroit."
