"Charming downtown Detroit hotel. Very conveniently located. Small, well appointed rooms."

"Room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful"

"Good location and decent hotel and staff however the bed sheet and towels were very low quality."

"This is our second stay here, and not sure we’ll be back. The cleanliness seems to be worse than the time before and they’ve really lost the “attention to detail” that you would expect from this kind of hotel. It was obvious the room turnover was rushed and we had to call down to ask for more pillows (only two in the room) and towels (same). The location is great, but might need to find an alternative for our next visit."

"Nice room"

"Very warm welcome, the room was really nice and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep in. Would certainly return."

"Front desk was very nice, the hallways were kind of dirty. The room was just fine."

"I love my stay at the Roost . I felt like I was home just in another state. I had the same dish detergent and hand wash I used at home . The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and satisfying! Room service for breakfast in the morning. I had a green smoothie with a full breakfast ! Just an overall stellar stay ! Only bad point the temperature in the room would not warm me up enough for those cold Detroit nights !"

"Love to the building and the look of the room, but it was filthy. A staff member came and vacuumed for us when I brought it up, but it didn't make much difference. Floor was really sticky in spots and someone's hair and glitter were everywhere. Linens and towels were clean."

"the decor and style"

"Elevator was not working"

"Very clean"

"This was our second stay here, and both times were wonderful! Beds are comfy, showers are hot and have good water pressure, rooms are spacious, and the grounds/ buildings are beautiful. The included private parking lot is the cherry on top. Would 100% recommend"
