"This is the second time I have stayed at Buddha's Abode. They had only just opened last year and it is pleasing to see an additional floor has opened up. The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly, and really made my stay even better than expected. "Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...

"Great location, some way from Dharamshala but quiet, beautiful views and good restaurant. Helpful staff."

"New seeming hotel in great condition with pleasant, generous rooms and good communal spaces. Helpful staff, the limited food I had was very good. Only issue really is that location is not where indicated on Hotels.com. It’s not in Dharamshala and certainly not next to the McLeod Ganj ropeway as the address implies. It’s a few miles down the road in Sudhed, which is a fair bit less convenient."
