"This hotel runs the incidentals as a charge rather than as an authorization. I caught this and called the hotel asking for a refund of the $100 incidentals charge. I was told it should be back in my account within 24 hours. 48 hours later it still isn’t returned. Just called the hotel again and was told it takes 5-10 business days for the refund to take place. "This is an older hotel that had been rebranded to Holiday Inn Express, so not the standard aesthetics of an HIEx. However the facility was nice, staff was friendly & breakfast was as expected from HIEx (love those cinnamon buns). My only complaint was I didn’t expect a queen bed instead of a king, and it wasn’t a great mattress."
